A Harley Davidson Convention For Hog Roast Banbury

Hog Roast BanburyRecently, Hog Roast Banbury team were hired by Melanie from Harley Davidson in Weyvern Park in Guildford. The event was to celebrate their 10th anniversary and was taking place at the company’s base in Guildford. The celebration had a very long guest list and was a little outside the Hog Roast Banbury’s usual catering area but the team were more than happy to travel to extra mile to make their event a success. The food was served under a gazebo alongside some fantastic Harley Davidson motorbikes and the atmosphere was buzzing despite the early service.

Melanie requested for the Hog Roast Banbury team to serve the classic hog roast menu which featured a traditional spread including a whole roasted hog which was served alongside delicious crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and apple sauce. The meat was cooked by the team’s Catering Manager on site in one of the team’s professional Hog Master machines. The meat was also served with fresh, lightly floured bread rolls and wraps in wicker baskets. For the vegetarian option, the Hog Roast Banbury team served grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers served on fresh pitta breads alongside a tzatziki dip. The food looked fantastic on the buffet table and was presented beautifully. In addition, all of the guests loved the food and the team received some great feedback.

Hog Roast Banbury   The service was led by the Hog Roast Banbury’s team Catering Manager, Greg, would did a fantastic job of maintaining a calm and smooth service. The event was for 1000 guests and so it was vital that everything went to plan and all of the food was ready right on schedule. The food was served between 10:30am and 11am and, therefore, with such a short time frame to serve the food to so many people, it was vital that everything was ready at the same time. In addition, Greg had to ensure that they did not rush the cooking of the food to make sure that all of the food was cooked through. The event was a great success and Greg could not have been happier with the outcome.
