The only thing more stressful than choosing a wedding catering option that manages to please every member of the family and all of their different tastes and requirements, is having to pick a menu that suits two families! This was the dilemma faced by the two couples the Hog Roast Oldbury team met recently, who had decided to have a double wedding! When lifelong friends Mark and Tim both got engaged to their long-term girlfriends last year, it had seemed like a great idea to have a joint celebration, but it was proving to be quite problematic in the planning stage!
Luckily for the harangued quartet, Hog Roast Oldbury were there to save the day with our extensive wedding menu options that have been carefully designed to take everyone needs and preferences into account! The foursome were overjoyed with the choices available to them, including our range of different meats and vegetarian options, meaning no one had to compromise or be served something they didn’t like!
Rather than being out of options, they found themselves spoilt for choice, but eventually decided on a traditional hog roast for the main course, alongside our succulent sirloin of beef as the alternative meat, both served with their traditional trimmings and accompanied by rosemary and garlic new potatoes and the freshest seasonal vegetables available. They also went for Hog Roast Oldbury’s freshly prepared feta skewers for the meat-free option, along with a mixture of meaty and vegetarian canapes, from our extensive selection! Even with 2 mother in-laws to please, Tim and Mark were confident their menu would be a massive hit with all of their guests, so with that huge weight lifted off their shoulders, they could stop worrying about the food and concentrate on disagreeing about everything else!
 As the wedding reception drew near, we had everything in hand ready for service at 2pm- no matter how many dishes we are preparing, everything is always done from scratch at the venue by our own fair hands using only the best locally-sourced ingredients! Both couples looked happy and relaxed as the guests took their seats, and the food was given a big thumbs up by every family member from both parties! Proud grooms Mark and Tim couldn’t thank Hog Roast Oldbury enough for providing them with such a varied and magnificent feast for their double wedding and for the way we turned a seemingly impossible decision into a massive triumph!
