Very often when people think of hog roasts, they imagine they are only suitable for rustic and rural gatherings, but that certainly isn’t the case when it comes to Hog Roast Bridgnorth’s versatile approach to catering! We proved last weekend that we can cater for any style of event in any location, when we were asked to provide a stylish menu for a 30th birthday party in a city centre venue!
The birthday girl Chloe wanted her milestone birthday party to be one everyone would remember, and she had been searching long and hard for a catering company who could meet her needs. She wanted high quality, freshly cooked food that celebrated home grown produce, and when she found out about Hog Roast Bridgnorth’s varied modern menus and commitment to making everything from scratch using the best locally-sourced ingredients, she knew she had finally found the catering company she had been looking for!
Chloe wanted to treat her 80 guests to one of our more formal private party menus, which included a canape welcome reception to get the party started in style! The tempting trays of individually handmade nibbles included smoked salmon, mini feta skewers, Peking duck wraps and pate encroute. For the main course, meat-loving Chloe chose a mouth-watering selection of a classic hog roast, along with slow-roasted mint and rosemary spring lamb served with a mustard and dill sauce, with a selection of freshly made salads and new potatoes!
Having spent most of the day freshly preparing all of Chloe’s menu, we were raring to go by the time the guests arrived and our welcoming events team were ready to greet them with our platters of varied canapes. Chloe and all of her guests loved the food and they complimented her on her catering choice for the evening! She had the 30th birthday party she had been hoping for and she felt that Hog Roast Bridgnorth’s winning combination of traditional methods, locally sourced ingredients and elegant contemporary menus was the ideal catering choice for both the city centre venue and her 30th birthday celebration!
