When Larry and Ciara called Hog Roast Fawsley to cater their wedding, we were delighted to accept. Weddings are our most formal event. We offer waiting on staff, drinks at reception, a choice of 5 canapes to greet the guests and full sit down meal.
We arrived at the couple’s large garden gazebo in the cool February weather, we were set up and ready for the 200 guests early enough to enjoy the rock band rehearsals. The group were set up at the back of the gazebo to entertain the guests throughout the night.
At this particular event, our menu included a spit roasted lamb, seasoned with rosemary and served with mint and mustard along with a spit roasted pig served with apple sauce and stuffing. This was complemented with our famous crispy crackling. After the guests arrived, they enjoyed speeches and some music and then sat at their allocated seats ready for our service. Our waiting staff served our deliciously piled plates of meat, herb potatoes, salad and sauces. The room was filled with cheer and aromatic smells of succulent poultry. Larry personally thanked us for the deserts that we offered as all his guests had different tastes, we offered rich, delicious chocolate tortes and a fruitier option of fresh fruit salad. This satisfied each one of the weddings guests. We also served the couples wedding cake to every table and joined in with the delightful celebrations.
After we finished serving the mains, deserts and cake, our team discretely tidied away the plates, work station and everyone’s tables as they danced the night away with the rock entertainment.
Weddings are always a large and fulfilling event as we have such a large number of customers to satisfy, hog roast Fawsley are always fully prepared for an extensive group. We not only offer inside catering, we love to take our equipment outdoors and create a warm and tasteful atmosphere at a garden party or get together.
