This week Hog Roast Solihull were catering at a private event for Jessica who had enlisted our help to provide catering for fifty six people. The event was being hosted at Jessica’s home and so we would be required to cater outdoors. Although Hog Roast Solihull can cater indoors this just depends on the amount of space and ventilation available and in this case we thought outdoors would be best and made sure to pack our handy gazebo just in case the heavens decided to open whilst we were cooking.
On the menu was our delicious Southern Slow Roast menu. When you chose Hog Roast Solihull to provide this menu you get a choice of three different meats all cooked low and slow and marinated in our secret recipe rubs meaning they are always succulent and packed full of flavour. Today’s catering team was our catering manager Greg who was assisted by chef Kris and they had a full schedule ahead of them to have everything prepared in time for the 2’o’clock serve time.
Jessica had chosen our meat options of Cajun Spiced Whole Roast Chickens, BBQ Pork Butt and Texan 24 Hour Beef Brisket for a delicious combination. For the accompaniments Greg and Kris would be serving up some Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, Greek salad and a fresh green leaf salad along with some tasty potato wedges. We would also be providing some butchers selection sausages and not forgetting the vegetarians who would be enjoying some grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers, served with pitta breads and a tzatziki dip…
